Kids Kare

Childcare is provided during both the 9:00am and 11:00am Worship Services for children from birth through age three.

Parents: While your child is in our care, there will always be at least 2 workers in each room. All of our workers have had thorough background checks performed. For the safety of your child please register your child outside their assigned room. Please include your expected location and cell phone number so the workers can reach you in an emergency.

Preschool and Children's Bible Fellowships

All children from Toddlers through the Fifth grade participate in either a developmentally or age-graded Bible Fellowship group from 10:00am to 11:00am.  Just as Christ reminded his disciples of the importance of children we are reminded that God's Word should be stored in the hearts and minds of our children.

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.  When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! ... Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16

These verses make it clear that Jesus considered little children to be very important and worthy of his blessing.  At Austin Baptist Church we are following our Lord's example.  Your child is very important to us!  We are committed to helping each child grow up feeling good about God, church, and himself.   It is our goal for your child to understand God's love and know God's Word so that it will make a difference as they journey through life.  We recognized that the Spiritual development of each child rests primarily with the parents, but we want to do all we can to assist you and to help your child develop a love for learning about Jesus.
